Section Leader
Would you like the chance to go camping, climbing, potholing, lead community projects while helping prepare young people with skills for life? As a section leader you will do all of this and more, using your skills and learning new ones.
Assistant Section Leader
Would you like the chance to canoe, climb and make bird boxes while improving your CV? As a Assistant Section Leader you will do all of this and more, using your current skills and learning new ones. We now need a fun, committed person to support young people, helping run games and activities as part of weekly meetings. As part of a small team, you will be plan and deliver a safe and exciting programme for young people, helping them achieve badges and awards.
Volunteer Manager (Group Scout Leader)
We prepare young people with skills for life. But who supports the volunteers who make this happen? People like you. You can inspire, motivate and plan ahead. You’ll enjoy working with adults and young people in your local area and seeing the impact of your efforts. You’ll be organised, diplomatic and know how to get the best of out people.
Deputy Volunteer Manager (DGSL)
We prepare young people with skills for life. But who supports the volunteers who make this happen? People like you our Group Scout Leaders along with their deputies. You can inspire, motivate and plan ahead. You’ll enjoy working with adults and young people in your local area and seeing the impact of your efforts. You’ll be organised, diplomatic and know how to get the best of out people.
Adventurous Activities Team Member
BEAST Active Support Unit supports Basingstoke East Scouting by providing adventurous activities for all sections. This can be anything from Axe Throwing to Water Sports. We need people like you to train and run these activities to our young people.
B.E.A.S.T Coordinator
This exciting opportunity has arisen to join our adventurous activities team as a coordinator, supporting the unit manager in the running and organising of the unit.

Do you know your Twitter from your Tumblr? Can you manage a digital community? Then we would love to use your skills to provide to manage our member communications.
District Explorer Scout Commissioner
This exciting opportunity has arisen to head up and shape our Explorer Scout offering across Basingstoke East. Working closely with our Explorer Units, District Commissioner and deputies and our Youth Commissioner you will lead the way in our 14-18 year section.
Media Development Manager
Our young people love the adventures that they have with Scouting. We are looking for someone creative to help capture and share those adventures.
Executive Committee Member – Legal
Every Scout district requires trustees, which form the Executive Committee. We are currently looking for someone with legal expertise to join ours.
Assistant District Commissioner (ADC) Section Support – Beavers
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and keen individual to take on this exciting role of Assistant District Commissioner (ADC) Section Support for our Beaver Scout section.
Executive Committee Member – Human Resources
Every Scout district requires trustees, which form the Executive Committee, This committee oversees the administration of the district. As well as a Chair, Secretary and Treasurer, each Executive welcomes people with specific skills, and we are currently looking for someone with HR skills.
District Scout Network Commissioner
We are looking for someone to help us proactively enabling Scout Network members to shape and participate in the Scout Network programme. Network is the oldest of our 6 sections aged 18-25.
